An update on Santen’s actions regarding COVID-19
As a healthcare company that is well represented across the globe. Santen’s mission is to contribute to the well-being of patients, their loved ones and consequently to society.
We take our role in limiting the risk to our people and those around us very seriously. We are continuously monitoring developments and taking appropriate actions to help protect and support the ophthalmology community.
Our manufacturing network remains fully operational and as the global situation evolves, we will continue to take the steps necessary to safeguard the reliable supply of our medicines. Mindful that our medicines are used to treat long-term conditions that impact on sight and quality of life, we have also been working to help patients receive their medicines despite potential movement and logistics restrictions.
We remain in constant dialogue with healthcare professionals and patient organisations across EMEA, to understand how best we can continue to support them. We are also adopting and embracing digital solutions to allow ongoing medical education and continued scientific exchange.
To reduce the risks of COVID-19 infections, we continue to minimise the working from our offices, our commercial teams are not currently operating in the field and international business travel is not permitted.
We will continue to protect and support the community we serve throughout this crisis.
